Windows Movie Maker is one of the great AV production tools I have used when making videos. I needed to make a video for the history class in high school including texts, music and attached each different slide of videos into one. It was pretty easy to make videos through Windows Movie Maker tool, even though I had no idea how to use it.
There might be some of the problems that I may have with copyright over elements that I did not create. For example, if I put a song as background music for the video I make, I cannot upload the video on the web, even though I have made that video since the music I added has a copyright. Thus, need to be careful with the copyright issues when making a video.
There are also the dangers of defamation. The law of defamation tries to balance two opposing interests which are freedom of speech and the importance of reputation. People need to be aware of whether they are defaming someone through their work while expressing what they think.
